A striking burr mulberrywood box by Palais Royale, decorated with fine hand cut steel studs, an elegant steel handle and steel ball feet, mother of pearl cartouche and escutcheon. The most wonderful colour of this very rare wood is superb. Palais Royale was situated in the inner courtyard of the Cour d'Honneur opposite the Louvre in Paris, within a covered arcade lined with smart shops which opened in 1830.We deliver personally to most places in the UK and can arrange delivery or shipping to all destinations, please ask for a quote.
