Large Antique Giltwood Oval Mirror c1690-1710.Wonderfully carved frame with foliage and gadrooned panels, typical of the period.
Frame retains its later 19th century water/oil gilding, which has a superb mellow look.
Frame holds a early piece of mercury mirror plate which has overall foxing, very atmospheric.
Sizes 95cm x 83cm.
