BRONZE SCUPTURE AFTER FREDERIC REMINGTON TITLED THE MOUNTAIN MANThe bronze statues of Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909) are celebrated as among the best of American sculpture. His portrayals of cowboys, Indians and their horses have come to represent the Wild West across the globe.
A quality Bronze Sculpture depicting a native american sioux warrier Chief on horseback negotiating down a steep rocky slope.The original sold at Christies for $146,000 USD
This large and heavy sculpture has been hand crafted around the early 20th Century after Frederic Remington.
The detail is very good with a patina throughout being a dark metalic lustre,with some areas having been over dusted and looking brighter and cleaner.
This bronze is a tremendous weight and would surprise most people when trying to pick it up.
CONDITION
There should be a fine braided copper rein,but this is absent.This could easily be made and replaced.
Good patina,with the usual polished areas caused by constantly dusting and wiping.
There is no damage at all or other missing parts.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
