Description

We are pleased to offer for sale this beautifully painted oil on canvas by the talented Victorian artist ALBERT DUNINGTON.
This fine landscape painting depicts a view of Haddon Hall in Derbyshire, seen from below on the banks of the river Wye at Bakewell in Derbyshire, with cattle watering.

ALBERT DUNINGTON B1860-D1928
Albert Dunington was a painted in oils and in watercolours,specialising in landscapes, coastal and animals.
He was born in Lenton, Nottsingham and later lived in Manchester at 45 Warwick Street. He exhibited several times in Nottingham Castle Museum (Nottingham Society of Artists) and later at Manchester City Art Gallery.
His surname was often mis-catalogued with two "n"s.
He is listed in The Painters in the Northern Counties of England and Wales by Dennis Child and in The Dictionary of British Artists.

SIGNATURE
The artist has signed the painting with his initials in the lower left hand corner with his initials A.D.

CONDITION
This painting is in nice order throughout,with just one tiny repair patch on the back of the canvas,which is otherwise fine and cannot be seen from the front.
There is the usual very slight signs of craquelure consistant with with age as is normal.

Delivery by private courier within the UK Mainland will be used for very large paintings and is charged at a flat rate of £80 for paintings only [ allow 7-14 days delivery time ]

International Delivery Quotes Worldwide are available on request by providing your full name and address together with a postal / area code and a contact number.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.

Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.

Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.

Payment is required within 3 calendar days of the sale being agreed.International transfers are required within 5 days of point of sale.
