Huge impressive Master Portraiture of Elzbieta Branicka Countess Krasinka and her children 1853, after the renowned artist Franz Xaver Winterhalter (1805-1873)

The Countess is depicted with her daughter Maria Beatrix and her two sons Zygmunt and Wladyslaw.

The original oil painting is in the Palace Museum in Wilanow Poland.

Franz Xaver Winterhalter was a German painter and lithographer born on 20th April 1805 in Menzenschwand Sankt Blasien Germany.

He was well known for his flattering portraits of royalty and upper-class society in the mid-19th century. His name has become associated with fashionable court portraiture.

He died in Frankfurt Germany on 8th July 1873.

Mounted within this magnificent heavy duty antique style ornate swept gilt frame which greatly enhances the portrait.The frame is an expensive gallery standard example which would have cost a considerable sum to purchase, around £400 or so.

Delivery by private courier within the UK Mainland will be used for very large paintings and is charged at a flat rate of £80 for paintings only [ allow 7-14 days delivery time ]

International Delivery Quotes Worldwide are available on request by providing your full name and address together with a postal / area code and a contact number.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.

Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.

Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
