Description
Richly detailed hunting oil painting titled ‘Going for Cover’, after British artist Heywood Hardy (1842-1933).-
A quality vibrant contemporary oil on canvas , painted in splashes of bright red punctuate the pastoral beauty of the English countryside with the Hunt Master, the Huntsman opening the gate, and followers including a lady riding side saddle.

As with most equestrian art, a desirable subject that will grace any wall and room, and will only increase in value. Oil on Canvas signed by artist lower right ‘P Caroll’, mounted on stretcher within this gilt frame, good condition, ready to hang.

Heywood Hardy (1842-1933) was trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and was a painter and etcher of animals, portraits and sporting subjects.

International Delivery Quotes Worldwide are available on request by providing your full name and address together with a postal / area code and a contact number.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.
Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.
Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
