Mad House Oldies

Description

Stunning antique French Belle Epoque lady's cut steel evening bag, with electroplate cantle relief-decorated with Bacchian putti, lined with patterned silk and containing a matching purse. The purse is also lined with silk and has a three-pence from 1938 inside. The bag has a chain handle approx 40cm long. This bag and purse are beautiful, the metal on the bag has come away from one side of the hinge, this is hardly noticeable, other than that the bag and purse are in good condition.

Bag measures:
30cm long from the top clip to the bottom of the tassels
25cm long from top to bottom
16.5cm wide.

Purse measures:
8cm long
7cm wide.
