Victorian Silver Vinaigrette Perfume Scent Bottle

Description
A wonderful Victorian solid silver Vinaigrette and scent bottle, combined into an elegant single tube with hinged lids on both ends. The case is embellished with floral swags & swirls and foliate engraved designs, the cartouche on the body of the case is engraved with initials. The scent bottle side has a fitted glass stopper and the Vinaigrette side has a gilded pierced grill.Makers mark: slight wear, possibly H&T (Hilliard & Thomason), Birmingham, 1891
Condition: Good original condition, wear consistent with age and use. Slight split damage to rim on scent side lid and not quite as crisp closing as Vinaigrette side.
