Description
Large, impressive, stylised, table top, engine turned with chased boarders, silver Vesta Case of rectangular form. The top hinge lid opens to reveal a silver gilt interior. The base of this unusual box is stamped "Made in England", hinged and manually pushed upwards to reveal the long sized matches.Makers mark: J.G Ltd. Birmingham hallmark, 1949.
Condition Good original condition, wear consistent with age and use. Slight ding on one edge.
