Description
A rare Victorian Castle-top Vinaigrette, the lid engraved with an unidentified building. Of shaped rectangular form, the base and sides with foliate scroll engraved decoration. Vacant cartouche on reverse. The silver gilt interior with a foliate scroll pierced grille. Attached suspension ring.Makers mark: H.T (Hilliard & Thomason), Birmingham, 1855
Condition: Good original condition, wear consistent with age and use. No damage or repair.
