Regency Mahogany & Brass Inlaid Card Table

Description
An early 19th century superb quality Regency mahogany & brass inlaid card table.This table consists of a top with superb quality curl mahogany veneers with brass inlaid stringing and rosewood cross banding leading down to the edge of the two brass inlaid leaves.
The two leaves open to reveal an interior surface of green baize in very good condition.
This leads down to the fine quality mahogany veneered frieze with a central panel of a stylised anthemion inlaid in brass and ebony, to each side is an inlaid brass design with fleur de lys to the corners and a reeded ebony moulding below.
The table stands on a platform base with pierced and shaped supports with brass stringing.
The platform base has inlaid brass fleur de lys decoration with four outswept splayed legs, each with brass and rosewood roundels with inlaid brass line and arrows.
The legs lead down to the original gilt brass castors of hairy paw design.
The top has had some movement in the past and has an old repair which can be seen on the photographs.
This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.

Deliveries can be arranged by us, using specialist antiques couriers and shippers both within the UK and overseas.
Most UK deliveries will be made within 14 days, some may take longer but we would advise of this at the time of purchase.
Worldwide shipping available, please contact us for a free quote to include professional packing and fully insured services
Any overseas delivery timescales are discussed with the buyer at time of purchase.
RETURNS
Customers purchasing items over the internet can be assured that we offer a 14 day returns policy in the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase.
We will issue a full refund less the RETURN transport/courier costs once the item is returned back to us in the same condition as when it left us and with the same courier, the return fee should be the same as the delivery fee and no more, estimate for a general piece of furniture within mainland UK £70 - £100 plus vat.
Please bear in mind that all antiques have slight blemishes and this adds to the character of them.
Cancellation forms can be forwarded to you on request.

1) photographs taken of the packaging/box before being opened and emailed to me
2) no packaging/boxes must be destroyed or cut as these may need to be viewed
