A Fine and Extensive Large Format 95 page Vintage Scrap Book.

The contents detailing clippings and cuttings from World Tennis of both the men's and women's game.

The date range is very specific, focussing from 1946 to around the mid-late 1950's - a wonderful and vibrant era.

This is a scrap album of rare and unusual quality and depicts images of both big name players at premiere tournaments such as Wimbledon, as well as many, many lesser known or marginal players from around world and shown playing at smaller venues.

Carefully arranged, the black and white images taped into place as shown.....it is clear this was compiled by a true enthusiast of the sport.

A mammoth 95 pages in total, with further loose clippings at the end.

All in all, a wonderful, unique, impressive and fascinating archive - a must for the period / vintage tennis collector. Super object.

Condition -

In excellent, used, vintage condition.
The tape gum has left the odd shadow on the facing pages in places, but this isn't really an issue and the album presents well, with all images and text being unaffected.
The album is complete, with practically no missing images or pages.
