A Pair of Antique Chinese Cupboards / Cabinets.

Dating to the 19th century (Qing Dynasty).
(Each cabinet still retains its old import / customs wax seal to the upper surface).

Despite the obvious wear and tear from a life fully lived, these gorgeous old Chinese cupboards retain a fantastic, dishevelled look and ooze heaps of character and potential in equal measure.

They are being sold for restoration / improvement.....and I'll leave the decision as to how much restoration they should receive to the new owner. The surfaces could be lightly cleaned and then polished (and so retain much of the weathered and aged appearance), or, for those who wish to go further, they could be the subject of a full and complete restoration and smartened up considerably.

Either way, they represent a good project.

Would look superb in an Asian or Oriental themed interior - perhaps flanking a bed or fireplace.....or positioned in a hallway.

Condition: with multiple faults, wear, surface marking and loss. Some repair work required. Uncleaned. Unrestored. Sold as a project.
