Description

A superb little mahogany chest originating circa 1800. This started life as a larger chest and has been remade into a small proportion one. In very tidy but unrestored condition it is on offer at a hughly keener price than an originally built late 18thC or early 19thC one of this size, but has of course all original timbers. With good colour, diamond shaped escutions and swan neck handles, all sitting on splay feet is is very much the right look. It is a really pleasing small chest and able to fit into those tight spaces and still be useful. Could fit in almost anywhere, from a bedroom to a hall, to a lounge or dining room...................Reserved for client.................
