Description

There was certainly no shortage of metals when this fellow was cast. Very thick and certainly heavy, this cast fire back is a good example by any standards. Depicting a horseman on his horse, possibly King George on his way to fight the dragon, the cast detail is excellent. We have given this a good wire brushing to remove soot etc and it is now ready for its new home. Could even be used a a feature in a garden or some other lacation and at a price that is not going to break your bank. Being totally impossible to date some of these we can only guess at 19thC.
