A very handsome piece of furniture. Fabulous in a large hall or other room. Useful space inside for anything from hats to shoes to dining room plates and cutlery to your hifi. Exceptional carvings as can be seen in the photographs and we think most likely of Flemish origin. Good size but not too big and not too dark as some oak ones could be, not common in walnut either. This is pretty much in original condition, tiny amount of restoration and then a good clean and rewaxing to bring out the lustre of the timbers. Priced keenly to sell.
