This three leaf extending table has just been through our workshops and is in excellent condition ready to entertain. The leaves although being original 19thC ones have come from another table, it is very unlikely that you would ever know but our company policy is to advise of any non original parts that we are aware of. The graining and colour of leaves is super and all match as well as they are likely to have done back in mid Victorian times when this table was made.
It is a very comfortable ten seater but will easily seat 12 as can be seen by the chairs down one side. It would in fact seat 14 on holidays and high days. It has a very pleasing oval end and a double lipped edge giving it lots of body. The turned leg with reeding sits on the original castor. It has been priced at a very competitive figure for a table of this size in this sort of condition.
