In really clean condition this mahogany chest is a little lower than normal at 60cms. It could be really useful if you wanted to put a chest under a low window perhaps or on a landing where you did not want something that was going to dominate. Having said that it could of course fit in anywhere. The original brass handles are particularly good with great detail, one of the drops has been replaced but we did not notice until we came to clean them, so it very similar, we really could not warrant changing such an impressive set. Priced very keenly for this quality and in this clean condition at £355.00 The timber has good colour and finish and the inlay around the top and around the drawer fronts really sets this chest off from lesser examples. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
