Description

An unusual Oak settle from the mid 1900s. This has a good flowing shape with the open arm to take umbrellas or walking sticks. The seat opens to give a useful storage space and under the seat lid is a cabinet makers transfer for Kubbyland Furniture. By the design and the lines of this Oak Monks Bench we would suggest it may well be Deco but it could be a bit later. It certainly has the Deco look. This settle is in good tidy condition and is ready to go, we have given it a refresh and waxed and buffed the timber.
