Description

In superb condition this Victorian walnut dressing table is a well made good looking example. This boasts the original cabinet furnitue and carries the cabinet makers mark in a brass plaque. The makers are Samuel Cutter who were based in Bold Street, Liverpool. We understand they supplied some items to Shoolbreds store in London, the latter being known for quality and holders of a Royal Warrant. The Liverpool site has of course been redeveloped over the years and now sits in the pedestrain zone.
The walnut dressing table has a very nicely turned and reeded leg, detailing on the mirror arms and on top of the mirror. A great looking useful piece of quality furniture, 'A great Christmas present for a lady perhaps' There is also a French dressing table chair in walnut that may appeal.
