Description

This mahogany carver chair is a handsome looking chap. There are in fact a pair, one has been broken in the past but now repaired, it is free with the one for sale.
The chair is nice and clean with worn leather seat in place. This could be restuffed and retained which is most fashionable currently. We have not done this in case someone wants reupholstery. We can get this done if required, would cost maybe £40/45 plus vat.
The legs are straight which is very typical for a Chippendale style Georgian chair. This is later in that design, (still an antique in its own right however)but very nice quality with a good shape arm. The legs have the various stretchers for rigidity. A good chair which is good looking and has a free partner to go with. The second chair is most useable to be fair but should not be rocked on, indeed no chair should be rocked on unless it is designed to be. A good chair for only £160, which is in fact two for £160. Could be a desk chair with the partner for visitors perhaps.

We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
