A lovely shape, superb condition with clean crisp inlays and fresh upholstery, a hint of Sheraton influence perhaps. It would be hard to find a chair in much better condition to be fair. It has all been restored and freshly upholstered, as mentioned, and it is now ready to find a new home. A really elegant arm / elbow chair from circa 1900 this could fit in almost anywhere, it has a good flowing form with string inlays and a pair of inlaid splats in the back. The seat has a most appealing serpentine shape and everything sits on a elegant cabriole leg . Not an easy chair to replace.
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
