An large oval ended mahogany extending table that has lots of flexibility. The pictures show the table in our store rooms in an unrestored condition. We have chairs available to go with this table if required. This 19th Century dining table shuts to a 54inch round when closed and extends out to 98 inches with four leaves, these can be used all together or one at a time of course. It is an exceptional quality table with excellent graining and seriously well made, very heavy with good strong timbers even in the runners. A very rare example being on a splitting pedestal that has two cabriole leg ends that extend out with the oval ends giving excellent support to elimiate any rock as one uses the table. It will re French polish really well and will look fantastic when finished which can be done to the exact requirement of the new owner at this stage. This dining table will seat 8 with utmost ease, 10 can be seated without problem and even 12 on holidays and high days. We do have larger and smaller tables in stock too, maybe 50 at the current time.....PRICE INCLUDES FULL RESTORATION AND RE FRENCH POLISHING.
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
