Description

This oak court cupboard or cabinet is a most impressive item and would look fantastic in the right setting, as well as being useful too. We suspect it is Flemish and dating from the 1700s, other parts dating in the late 1800s. It has two opening doors in the top, two drawers in the middle and the shelf near the base. Carvings are in very good condition as the the remainder of the contruction, its heavy and not loose. The sides have raised and fielded panels which give a good look from the side too. We have given this a good clean and rewaxing as it has been in store for a little while, but it still retains a good patina built up over the years. In mid to dark oak, not quite as dark as the pictures might suggest, it really will be a superb item in a period property or as a single stand out piece in a more modern environment. A one off really, not found very often and as mentioned in very nice tidy condition, not full of worm or anything.
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
