Description

A rather splendid open fronted mahogany bookcase from around 1900. This nice quality bookcase is a rare example with the little cupboard in the base, great for hiding away those untidy bits or for keeping the vintage port away from everyone else. The doors have raised and fielded panels and there is a lock that works and we have the key. (thats not that common either) The top has been re French polished to remove some minor marking and the remainder has been cleaned and rewaxed. Now in good tidy condition it is ready for its new home. Standing 44ins high which includes the brass gallery it certainly is a most useful and useable item that can fit into a study, lounge, bedroom or where it may be of use................RESERVED......................
We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas.
