Description

This mid oak occasional table is a most unusual example. From the turn of the century, around 1900, this occasional table with the twin galleries on the lower platforms has a clear art nouveau influence. It has had a clean and the top has been French polished so is in nice tidy condition to enter its new life. Not a table one is going to come across very often if at all ever again. Normally these occasional tables from this era with this kind of nouveau influence are mahogany or walnut, but not this one. Would look great in a many a space and certainly not to be found on street corners as mentioned already. The oval top has well detailed design at the top of the legs with a bracket on the top of these legs, all in all an attractive unusual table, and one you could certainly not produce for this kind of money today.
