Description

In very nice and tidy original condition this most unusual mahogany cabinet is also a well made quality example. A fine display or bookcase it has been made in the Chippendale style, boasting the blind fret work around the cornice and the astrigal glazed doors. The cabinet sits on a table which has a drop leaf supported by a gate leg. The leaf is shaped which adds to the appeal. We do not recall ever having seen a similar example.
This one is a fine looking item and being quite petite it will fit into many a space and look good without being heavy. Giving space in the top for books or as a display it gives lots of flexibility. Being only 34 ins wide at its maximum and 15ins deep with the leaf down it can fit into a modern property just as well as an older one. Has key for door too.
