Description

A Chest of drawers from around 1900 either late Victorian or early Edwardian. This chest is just the most unbelievable quality. The sides are inch thick mahogany, the top with its lovely graining has an inlaid detailing underneath and running all round the edge. The drawers have a quartered veneer on a mahogany backing, which in itself would be better than most examples. Around each drawer is a cross banding which really sets them apart from most others and the whole chest is sitting on a concave shaped splay bracket foot. One of, if not, the most heavy chest we have had at this size.
Quality , Quality, Quality in every respect. If you are wanting something special this is for you, it has been re French polished and is just superb. Cabinet furniture is original too.............SORRY NOW SOLD....................
