Description

A nice and clean 19th Century Mahogany press cabinet. This has been in our workshops and has been cleaned and polished and is now ready to go into service. Needing one or two small repairs when it came in, it is now most impressive, clean inside and out. The drawers have the original turned knobs and the brass bead down the centre is a good indication of rather better than average quality.
The slides have been removed to give hanging space in the top section. There is no rail at present but if the purchaser would like us to we will fit one free of charge. Currently there is a large selection of hooks, indicating we suggest the alteration was in the 1800s or early 1900s before coat hangers were invented.
The drawers all have intact beadings and the doors have raised panels. A nice clean item.........SORRY NOW SOLD.....
