This must be one of the most impressive card tables available in the country. The rosewood is a superb colour and is enhanced by the fabulous contrasting inlays and the birds eye grained cross banding. A really special item in great condition, it would stand out in the very best of locations. We suggest this was made for someone rather wealthy in the early half of the 1800s. Workmanship is excellent and it is most impressive, note the flowing cabriole inlaid legs, the inlaid pedestal and inlaid freize. Coming to us in a dirty condition it was bought at a reasonable price and consequently we are able to pass this on to the new owner, 1200GBP for this table has got to be a steal. We have fully cleaned this card table and have been very impressed by the result.
