This 19thC Burr Walnut Pier cabinet is one of the most impressive currently available. Can be a Bookcase or Display cabinet. It is in excellent original condition with a good colour and superb graining. It has the turned pillars with the brass column tops and brass trimming to add further appeal to the well detailed inlays. It locks and has a key and the inside has clearly been recently relined. A very superior example indeed. I have looked on the net at Pier Cabinets, there are maybe a 100 example to be seen, most of which are just pictures or ones that have been sold. In my personal opinion this is one of the best, a top quality example which has reeded pillars inlaid top and bottom in the mountings and as stated brass capitals both top and bottom and not silly money either. This really is an example fit for a Lord. SORRY SOLD
