Description

This is a really useful sized pedestal desk and has the superb graining in the raised and fielded panels in the sides and the back. The quarter sawn oak really sets this desk apart from lesser examples. It has writing slides to give that extra space for working on. It is French polished all round, sides, kneehole and back etc. This desk made by A Cutler and son from Buffalo N.Y. USA is all ready to go having been fully restored in our workshops including the replacement tooled leather in black, so that it does not conflict with any colour scheme. We have a couple of desks of this size at the moment but it is rare. This size is popular and not easy to get good clean examples. The handles are original and also in great condition.
