Description

This set of six mahogany chairs (five stand chairs and a carver) are nice and solid and with the stretcher base they tend to give extra strength. In good condition they will all be checked over for any minor repairs and be cleaned and rewaxed before delivery. The seats are covered in brown hide and are in very good if slightly used condition. Very fashionable this look and of course being in hide give lots and lots of wear. In the popular Hepplewhite design these chairs from the early half of the 1800s and later are well made and substantial with a pleasing vase shape splat and the flowing reeded leg locked with the stretcher base. .....NOW SOLD.....
