Description

A superb Victorian burr walnut credenza in excellent condition. Featuring a shaped top with fine marquetry inlay and a detailed frieze above a central door fitted with a bevelled glass panel within an ebony-strung frame.

The central door, flanked by decorative ormolu mounts, retains its working lock and key.

Two further doors with curved glass fronts, brass edging, and string-inlaid frames each open to reveal two internal shelves.

Rich burr walnut colour and beautifully figured grain throughout. The piece stands on a shaped plinth base raised on turned feet.
