Description

A superb Victorian marquetry-inlaid walnut library table dating from around 1870, beautifully crafted and finished on all sides, so it can be freestanding in the room.

The rectangular top features striking burr-walnut veneers framed by an exquisite marquetry border of floral and foliate motifs.

Exceptional rich colour, deep patination, and crisp detailing throughout.

The table sits on elegant carved supports united by a turned stretcher.

Two smoothly functioning frieze drawers provide practical storage while maintaining the table’s refined profile.
