Description

This fine pair of chairs date to around 1900, they are made from a to grade rosewood and they have been decorated beautifully with intricate marquetry inlay.
Marquetry is the art of applying pieces of veneer to a structure to create patterns, designs, or pictures.
This has been done to a high standard as top quality construction is displayed.
The seats have been recently upholstered in a neutral grey linen with a double piped edging. This fabric compliments the rosewood well and is very comfortable to sit on.
Raised on tapering square legs with spade feet.
