This is a pair of vintage luggage cases. An English, leather and brass bedside nightstand in the campaign manner, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1990.

Exquisite casework, with beautifully appointed detailing and finish
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
Quality leather tanned to a deep caramel hue with lightly aged finish
Bound to the corners with quality brass cappings over leather straps

Dressed with brass slide clasps to secure the lid — keys absent
Once open, the cases remain raised upon cornflower blue straps
Bright burgundy coloured textile linings in pleasingly clean order
The tactile lining adorned with brass press stud finish

Heraldic interest to the front fascia, with the Royal Coat of Arms emblem
Situated below, a nicely detailed pair of crossed swords in brass
One lid with personalised stamp reading A. Hitchon
Brass drop handles adorn either side, for ease of carriage
