This is a large vintage shell shaped fruit bowl. An English, ceramic decorative serving dish, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970.

Fascinatingly formed fruit bowl, with appealing decor
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality white ceramic beneath a lightly glazed top coat
Crafted into a superb half scallop shell form
Accentuated with deep cobalt blue, gilt finish and colourful foliate pattern
