This is a vintage claret jug. An English, cut glass wine or spirit decanter, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.

Beautifully cut glass jug with bright appearance
Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Quality square cuts accentuate the tapering glass body
Silver plated collar with elegant handle and flip-top lid
Striking star cut base with etched maker's mark for Brisley
Unmarked as such, Brisley was the glass manufacturer for Cartier in period
