Description

This is an antique two draw telescope. An English, mahogany and brass refractor for terrestrial or astronomical use, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1850.

Perfect for bird watching, landscape appreciation, wildlife, or maritime observation. Equally suitable for observing the night sky.

In the manner of the contemporary 'day or night' telescope by Dollond, but unmarked as such

Broad mahogany primary barrel in good order with fine grain interest and colour
