This is a compact antique boot scraper. An English, cast iron door or porch scrape by A Kenrick & Sons, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1800.

Fascinating Georgian scrape
Displays a desirable aged patina
Cast iron in good order
Presented in a good, consistent graphite finish

Raised upon a lyre shaped mount, the scrape is 11cm (4.25") wide
Deep sided base with gently rolled edge
Maker’s mark to scrape reads A.K. & Sons
Secondary mark to the base reads A. Kenrick & Sons, no. 419
Base cast without bolt downs, can be added to individual requirements
