This is an antique centre table. A Flemish, mahogany and oak occasional table of overt Dutch taste and dating to the late 18th century, circa 1800.

Attractive serpentine form in select cuts of mahogany and oak
Fine grain interest and a desirable aged patina
Stout 2.5cm (1") top features inlaid blocks of wood around central frieze
Fully realised back ideal for central room placement

Drawer to front dressed with brass, working lock escutcheon and drop handles, key present
Valanced skirt decorates the table base
Raised upon four, wonderfully sinuous cabriole legs
