Antique Cast Iron Deer Figure. Cast Buck. Game Desk Sculpture. English c.1870This is a very unusual small antique animal figure in the form of a young buck.
Cast in iron, the sculpture has a rustic charm and fantastic patina. Diminutive in size the detail is not fussy but clean and charming with the deer alert and displaying a three horn antler.
Dating to the mid-Victorian period, c.1870, it is a rare and beautiful artisan object.
