Antique George III mahogany eight day painted face grandfather clock having a swan neck pediment with a glazed arch door and flanked by two attractive turned column supports. The original painted dial depicts a table scene with subjects in period dress and ladies in period costume to each corner, original hands, eight day striking movement on original bell. It boasts a splendid figured walnut case with a short door in the centre of the trunk flanked by turned columns. It stands on a figured mahogany base with splayed feet and united by a shaped apron.A wonderful example of exceptional colour in its original condition.

This warranty includes mechanical failures, but does not include damage caused by improper use, tampering, environmental damage or physical damage. If your clock has a genuine defect that satisfies the conditions of the warranty and is within the warranty period we will, at our discretion and without cost to you, complete the necessary replacement of parts and/or rectify a fault or action any repair as identified by a fully trained horologist. In the unlikely event that a repair is not successful a full refund will be offered.
