Magnificent Large Antique Mahogany Sideboard c.1880£5,250
This is a magnificent large antique mahogany sideboard with a beautiful brass gallery and turned stylish uprights. It has a shaped top rail with delightful finials. The top of the sideboard has two lift up lids revealing storage space for cutlery. The breakfront base with three drawers all with original brass handles. The flamed mahogany cupboard doors with oval ebony line inlay are superior, inside boasts original sliding shelves and sliding tambour doors to the recess. It is supported by elegant tapering legs on spade feet.
This is truly a spectacular example of its period, the design and craftsmanship are exemplary. The colour is beautiful and condition perfect.
