Magnificent Quality Antique Set of 6 Dining Chairs

Description
A fine and elegant set of six Regency dining chairs beautifully crafted in mahogany and richly carved throughout. The shaped top rails feature bold rope-twist carving centred with a finely carved fan motif. The mid-rails are decorated with sunburst roundels and reeded detailing, all characteristic of high-quality Regency workmanship.Each chair stands on well-shaped sabre legs with carved knees and delicately carved toes giving the set a refined, classical silhouette. The original cane seats survive in good order and the chairs come with newly upholstered drop-in seat pads for added comfort when desired. The pads are shown in the images in a smart tartan fabric, complementing the warmth of the timber.

Condition
The chairs are solid and structurally sound with crisp carving and an excellent colour to the mahogany. The cane seats remain original and are usable and very presentable. Newly upholstered drop-in seat pads fit securely and offer comfortable seating. Overall, a well-preserved matching set.
