Description
A finely painted Canton Rose Medallion plate decorated in the classic famille rose palette. The design is arranged in four alternating reserves: two featuring elegant courtly figures in pavilion settings and two filled with richly detailed birds, butterflies, foliage and blooming peonies.The border is framed with scrolling foliage, gilt highlights and soft pink lotus motifs, all characteristic of high-quality Canton export porcelain.
The enamels remain vibrant with good detail throughout, and the central medallion is particularly well executed. A lovely decorative plate and an excellent example of 19th-century Chinese export artistry. In lovely condition with no repairs, chips or cracks.

In the unlikely event that a repair is not successful a full refund will be offered.
