Description

Fine antique French marble, bronze and ormolu striking mantle clock having two magnificent quality bronze figures one being a lady in period dress the other of a standing cupid either side of a fine eight day French clock which strikes on the hour and the half hour on a bell. The ornate porcelain dial is beautifully hand painted with original hands and ormolu mounts standing on a shaped marble base with a moulded edge and supported by ornate ormolu feet.


This is an outstanding example with exceptional features, it has been crafted to the highest standards as expected in a quality French timepiece, it is in lovely condition and in good working order.
