Fine quality Victorian freestanding Maple & Co. inlaid writing desk having original pierced brass galleries, mirror to the centre with a pretty inlaid rail above flanked by two faux drawers to the right, one faux and one opening drawer to the left all which are exquisitely inlaid in a beautiful design. The drawers all boast the attractive original brass engraved handles and have shaped lids which open to reveal a stationery and storage department. The top has a green leather writing surface, seven satinwood inlaid drawers to the kneehole desk all with brass engraved handles, satinwood inlay to the sides and raised on eight elegant square satinwood inlaid tapering legs on original brass cup castors.This outstanding example is in magnificent original condition, the design and craftsmanship is superior. This warranty includes mechanical failures, but does not include damage caused by improper use, tampering, environmental damage or physical damage. If your clock has a genuine defect that satisfies the conditions of the warranty and is within the warranty period we will, at our discretion and without cost to you, complete the necessary replacement of parts and/or rectify a fault or action any repair as identified by a fully trained horologist. In the unlikely event that a repair is not successful a full refund will be offered.
