This statement piece, even though not marked, was most certainly crafted by a leading cabinet maker of the period, most possibly the likes of Holland and Sons. The attention to detail and the quality is phenomenal and along with the proportions suggest that it would have certainly been an important one off commissioned or showcase piece. It is truly superior in its class and in original untouched condition.
